Excellent Staff and Home-Like Feel
What I appreciate most is that this does not feel institutional at all. The house is warm and inviting, the staff is like extended family, and the care my aunt receives is thorough and gentle. The outings to the zoo and local parks are a wonderful touch. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a residential care option in Chicago.
Wonderful Small Community
My grandmother thrives in this intimate setting. She has formed close friendships with other residents and looks forward to the daily activities. The garden is her favorite spot in the summer, and the staff always makes sure she has everything she needs. The family-style meals bring everyone together in such a nice way.
Genuine Care in a Beautiful Setting
After visiting several large facilities, finding Golden Years in Lincoln Park was a relief. It feels like a real home. The caregivers are compassionate and skilled, the food is excellent, and the Lincoln Park location means there are always interesting places to visit nearby. My father is happy here.
Like a Second Home for My Mom
The small size of this home makes all the difference. The staff knows my mother by name, remembers her preferences, and treats her like family. The home-cooked meals are delicious and the Victorian house is charming and well-maintained. I worried about placing my mom in care, but this place has eased all my concerns.
