Oakwood Memory Care San Francisco is a physician-led memory care community offering the most advanced dementia care available in the Bay Area. Founded and directed by Dr. Elizabeth Chang, a board-certified geriatric psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience in cognitive disorders, our program integrates the latest research in neuroscience with a deeply compassionate, person-centered approach to care.

Our comprehensive family support program includes monthly education seminars led by Dr. Chang, individual family counseling with our licensed clinical social worker, a 24/7 family hotline for questions and concerns, and access to our online resource library. I will not sugarcoat it, Oakwood is expensive. But after trying two other memory care facilities that did not meet my mother's needs, I can say without hesitation that the investment is justified.
